Guardian Angel Entrepreneurs Network
Guardian Angel Entrepreneurs Network has a simple objective: to assist local companies in developing and achieving greater success by providing them access to highly experienced, knowledgeable and skilled business people — we call these our Guardians.

Drawn from every walk of life and business sector, the Guardian mentors will help you nurture the seed of a business and then provide you with the expertise to flourish or simply help you to make better informed decisions, within the business.
Whatever your challenge, our network allows us to access 100s of experienced business people in areas such as business planning, finance, marketing, marketing strategy, HR and many more.

Background
We started life as the Blackburn Partnership, before becoming Community and Business Partners a few years back to reflect our widening influence in the region.
The past 10 years has been a decade of massive change for all of us. We no longer simply focus on Blackburn but on the rest of Pennine Lancashire and the North West Region. Everything has moved on. Our town centres, the environment - and our collective awareness of it — health and education facilities plus the local economy. All have altered greatly.
As an organisation we recongised that the world around us was changing and moving on and in order to be relevant we would need to adapt too.
We are now a Community Interest Company (CIC), we have moved our HQ and we now have Job Ticker, SAMS and NW Business Mentoring to add to the Guardian Angel Network, Employers Forums and Charities @ SAMS, while the School Friends project has become part of SAMS.
Throughout these changes we have remained faithful to the ethos of The Blackburn Partnership. It was founded on a passion and drive to help the region and its people. It’s a philosophy that has never changed, despite the rebrand. It never will. Our projects today help more and more people across a wider cross section of our region. What does all that mean — it means we get things done.
